NEPRA Office Building

 Laying of Foundation Stone & Ground Breaking:

The Administration Division successfully organized “Laying of Foundation Stone & Ground Breaking” ceremony of NEPRA Office Building on February 28, 2007. The said ceremony was to be held at Project site i.e. plot adjacent to Fata House, in front of Government Hostel, G-5/1, Islamabad but due to heavy rain on the event date the venue was changed from the project site to Prime Minister House.

 Approval of Drawings from CDA:

The constant persuasion of Administration Division resulted in successive meetings convened by CDA w.r.t approval of drawings of NEPRA Office Building. CDA Design Vetting Committee (DVC) levied minor observations on the design of NEPRA Office Building. The Division in collaboration with the NEPRA Consultant, M/s Nayyar Ali Dada & Associates addressed the observations of DVC in a very timely manner and submitted the revised drawings for approval.

Procurement:

Administration Division upon requisition of the Finance Division initiated procurement process for the following computer equipment 

In line with the guidelines of PPRA, NEPRA Standing Committee on purchase completed the procurement process and suggested the vendors for the procurement of aforementioned computer equipment. The Administration Division after seeking requisite approval of the Authority issued purchase orders to the successful bidders.

Logistic Arrangements w.r.t Public Hearings:

Administration Division made logistic arrangements for public hearings held at NEPRA Main Office w.r.t Generation / Tariff licences, review petitions etc filed by the following companies:

The Administration Division through its PR&P Directorate arranged issuance of NOCs, visa endorsement, travel itinerary / issuance of air tickets, issuance of travel health insurance policy, customs / immigration clearance w.r.t foreign visits of the Authority & Professionals:

Mr. Zafar Ali Khan, Member (S&P) visited New Delhi, India w.r.t   USAID / (SARI/Energy) Conference on “Emerging Investment Opportunities in South Asian Power Sector scheduled on 20^th - 21^st  March, 2007.

Mr. Abdul Rahim Khan, Member (Lic)/VC and the following NEPRA Professionals visited Kalutra, Sri Lanka w.r.t 8^th SAFIR Core Course on “Infrastructure Regulation & Reform” scheduled on 1^st to 8^th April, 2007
