30. WAPDA and SHYDO
to be licensees
(1)
Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act for the period of six months from the
commencement of this Act, WAPDA and SHYDO shall be deemed to be licensees under this Act
and shall, during the said period shall apply for appropriate licences in accordance with
the provisions of this Act.
(2) Where a licence Linder this
section is granted to WAPDA or SHYDO, the conditions applicable to a licensee under this
Act for generation, transmission and distribution of electric power, as the case may be,
shall equally be applicable to WAPDA or SHYDO.
