29. Penalties
In addition to any penalty to
which a licensee may be liable under section 28, the Authority may impose a fine
on the licensee which may extend to three hundred thousand rupees for each
violation for each day and where any contravention continues, may impose a
higher penalty as may be prescribed:
Provided that
the licensee shall, before imposition of any penalty under this section, be
given a notice to show cause and be provided with an opportunity of being heard.
