20. Distribution
licences.-
(1) No person shall except under the authority of
a licence issued by the Authority under this Act and Sub I ect to the conditions specified
in this Act and as may be imposed by the Authority. engage in the distribution of electric
power.
(2) Ail application for a licence
for distribution of electric power shall specify-
(i) the type of service for which
the licence is being Sought,
(ii) the territory in which
electric power shall be distributed, and
(iii) the source and scope of
electric power and rates paid by it.
