16.
Transmission licence.-
(1)
No person shall, except under the authority of a licence Issued by the Authority
under this Act and subject to the conditions specified in this Act and as may be
imposed by the Authority, engage in the transmission of electric power.
(2)
An application for a licence for the transmission of electric power
shall specify
(i)
the type of service for which the licence is being sought, and
(ii)the
territory with location maps and plans to which electric power shall be
transmitted.
